At my first weigh-in on 4/4, I dropped 3.5lbs in 4 days. I was super happy with that result. I mean, if I keep this up, I'll be down like 30 lbs in a month! That seems totally possible LOL jkjk...but honestly, I'm thrilled with that as a start. My next weigh-in in on Thursday 4/11, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for 4 more! If you want to see what I'm eating, look at the Max Muscle Mission, and let me know if you have any questions. I'm going to start branching out a bit and making some new meals, so WISH ME LUCK!!!
Weighed in 2.5 lbs down, which brings my total to 6lbs in a little less than 2 weeks. I haven't been totally great with my meal plan, but I'm sticking to it about 95% of the time. If this keeps up, I will be able to drop, like, 24 lbs in 2 months... I'm guessing it won't be that fast.
Hi, everyone :) Meet my new friend, Nate! He owns Max Muscle Sports Nutrition (locations in Hilliard and Pickerington), and he's helping me drop some lbs, get healthy, and feel great. We sat down together to come up with a meal plan that's customized to fit ME, MY LIKES, and MY LIFESTYLE! I told him I hate fruit, and there is no fruit in my plan. I told him I'm always on the go, and it's tough for me to cook all the time, so he gave me some fast food options that I will actually eat. I'm PUMPED to get this routine going, so follow me on my jourmey. Today is day 1, and thus far, it's been a success LOL! I will post pictures as I go, so wish me luck! If it works for me, I know it will work for you too, so check out the guys at Max Muscle... they might just change your life...
Here are a few samples of what I actually get to eat - not too shabby. It's totally doable :)
Tuna steak with chilli sauce, broccoli and brown rice.
Chopped Salad (lettuce, spinach, carrots, pumpkin seeds, raisins) with Grilled Chicken and Cilantro Vinaigrette
Turkey Sandwich, Special K Cracker Chips, Almonds, Carrots & Celery
****Can you tell I made a bunch of grilled chicken all at once, and tried to figure out how to incorporate it...everywhere...? Next up, Salmon :)****
Mixed Salad with Mushrooms, Carrots, Red Onion, Edamame, Sesame Sticks, Grilled Flank Steak, and Balsamic Vinaigrette
Grilled Chicken with Jalapeno Salsa, Broccoli, and Brown Rice
Grilled Chicken with Whole Grain Pasta, Marinara Sauce, and Roasted Zuchinni with Black Pepper
Grilled Salmon with Picante-Lemon Chilli Sauce, Brown Rice, and Roasted Zucchini with Black Pepper
A whole wheat tortilla with lean ground beef, fat free shredded cheese, brown rice, roasted corn, and chimmichurri sauce
Garden Salad with mushrooms, red onion, edamame, carrots, avocado and balsamic vinaigrette
Whole grain pasta with grilled chicken, zuchinni, broccoli, garlic cloves, red peppers, and sundried tomatoes
Roasted chicken with cracked black pepper, cayenne roasted corn, and asparagus - I kinda cheated a little on this one. The chicken should be skinless, and I'm not totally sure about the corn, but it wasn't seasoned with anything unhealthy :)
Beef Kabobs minus the stick, plus whole grain pasta - Flank steak, tomatoes, zucchini, mushrooms, and green peppers, seasoned with garlic cloves, cracked peppercorns, and veggie stock. Soooooo good.
Grilled chicken quesadilla (pre-folding), with fat free shredded cheese, red peppers, jalapenos, mushrooms, and zucchini, all inside a whole grain tortilla
Garlic Pepper Shrimp Scampi, with a squash and zuchinni veggie medley, and corn
Crab Cake with wedge salad
Flank Steak Kabob, minus the stick, with whole grain pasta and cayenne-seasoned corn
CHEAT MEAL!!!! Roasted Lamb chops with Rice and Veggies... OH. SO. GOOD.
I think these tips just changed my life :) I hope the same can be said for you!
